Introduction
Dear Ladies,
It's no secret that womanhood is anything but easy. We're expected to navigate our careers, love lives, families, plus overall sanity and look like bombshells while doing so. However, something I've learned while riding the rollercoaster of life, is that treating everyday like it's your runway can actually be the difference between conquering it and a full on MENTY B (a cute nickname for mental breakdowns, right?). To make the curation of your own personal fashion show a little bit easier, here are three of my favorite Pink Closet Company looks, plus three lessons I've learned about dressing for your body type.
Look & Lesson One
Don't Hide Your Features, Accentuate Them!
Oftentimes, in an effort to not be "too much" we minimize ourselves and hide the features that make us who we are. Remember, there is beauty in individuality, so accentuate your most favorite parts of yourself! With this look, I wanted to bring out my curves, my blue eyes, and my red hair. So, the natural conclusion of course, was this sleek, body hugging, and all black number! I was going for a "Secret Agent On A Night Out" sort of vibe. How do you think I did?

Look & Lesson Two
Sizes Vary! Don't Be Afraid to Size Up or Down.
Between you and me, the inconsistencies in sizing amongst brands and companies both minor and major are an absolute disaster! With that being said, don't be afraid to try a size up or down if it means a better fit and a more iconic look. It's time to throw out the antiquated notions of sizes and numbers meaning anything. Wear what makes you look good, and more importantly, feel good! I decided to live my full pink hippie fantasy in this crochet flower sweater which I am wearing a M/L in, a ribbed V-line cropped tank which I am wearing a size M/L also, and these high rise ripped denim shorts in a size 18-20.

Look & Lesson Three
There Is Power In Femininity!
In my younger years, I fell completely victim to the stereotype that in order to feel powerful and confident pink was a no-no and being a tomboy was the way to ensure that nobody dared mess with me. A special shoutout to my tomboy sisters, but if older me could have a playdate with younger me, I'd tell her she sounds like an absolute fool. Today, I've never felt more confident and pink happens to be my absolute favorite color. Seriously, my room looks like cotton candy threw up in it. Here at the Pink Closet Company we do not see Power & Femininity as mutually exclusive. If anything, they go hand in hand! Be frilly, be pink, be floral, be vibrant, and wear lot's and lot's of tulle. Own it ladies, just like I did in this dress!

Ladies! You Are Enough.
A stunningly beautiful outfit can only take you so far. The most important thing to remember is that YOU ARE ENOUGH! You body is enough, your mind is enough, your personality is enough and so is everything else about you. The Pink Closet Company community is here to laugh with, to cry with, to chat with, and to try on really, really cute outfits with.
