21 Lessons I've Learned About Womanhood

As a 21-year old woman, I am the LAST person to claim they have all of their sh*t together! And lord only knows I've fallen from grace (which is ironically enough my middle namesake) a time or two. However, isn't that also part of the fun? Falling and getting back up again and if you're lucky collecting a few good stories and learning some cheesy lessons along the way? In the spirit of said sentiment, I've compiled 21 lessons I've learned about womanhood, and honestly life in general thus far. Like me, you are also one of life's imperfect students. So, take what you can and leave what you can't😉

Lesson 1: The most beautiful thing about life, is that you can't predict a single second of it.

Lesson 2: You'll play a different role in everybody's story. Perhaps in one you're a hero, and in another a villain. Just make sure that in your own, you're a really lovable main character!

Lesson 3: Happiness is unlocked the minute you start living honestly, authentically, and freely.

Lesson 4: Never stop learning the balance between what you want vs. what you need because I promise you, there's a difference.

Lesson 5:The desire for love and family is just as valid as the desire for career and success.

Lesson 6: If somebody hates themselves, they'll hate you for loving them.

Lesson 7: Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.

Lesson 8: At the first sign of repetition, run.

Lesson 9: The body always reacts first. Trust the signs.

Lesson 10: It's not your responsibility to fix them. You aren't their life coach babe.

Lesson 11: Pepper spray is an essential for every purse.

Lesson 12: Never regret telling someone how you feel.

Lesson 13: In order to live without regret, don't drive yourself crazy over the What Ifs?

Lesson 14: It's ok to love sex!!! It's fun!!! Your body count doesn't matter!!!

Lesson 15: You're stuck with yourself forever, so best to nurture that relationship first.

Lesson 16: A push-up bra and a bold red lip will give you enough power to rule the world.

Lesson 17: Surround yourself with people that add to your life, not subtract from it.

Lesson 18: There is simply nothing that a night out with your girls and gays can't heal.

Lesson 19: Never Settle.

Lesson 20: Nobody has everything 100% figured out so don't be envious of ANYONE.

Lesson 21: You Are Enough.
